37 Solaris buses successfully retrofitted in Liepaja!

Successful completion of a major retrofit project for Liepajas Autobusu Parks, covering 37 twelve-metre Solaris buses.
Our team was responsible for the complete retrofit process — from dismantling the existing equipment to installing, integrating and commissioning the new systems.

The upgraded buses are now equipped with:
Luminator amber LED destination displays
Interior and exterior stop announcement system — announcing upcoming stops inside the bus and providing external announcements when the bus arrives at a stop
Accessibility pictogram for visually impaired passengers at the front doors
Next-stop information display near the middle doors
29-inch passenger information display, providing real-time route and journey information
A platform allowing the City of Liep?ja to display public information, city news, events and other relevant content
APC – Automatic Passenger Counting system, providing accurate passenger boarding and alighting data
CCTV system for onboard security and monitoring
Onboard data communication infrastructure connecting the various systems and enabling data transmission
This project demonstrates how existing public transport vehicles can be significantly modernised through a carefully engineered retrofit — extending their technological lifecycle while providing passengers and operators with modern information, accessibility, security and data solutions.
